Germany: Berlin Lollapalooza

Berlin, a hub for great music no less than 365 days out of the year, really knows how to step up when it comes to inner-city festivals. Take Lollapalooza, which is set to take place in early August in Olympiastadion, which was originally built for the 1936 Summer Olympics. Other than its unique location, Lollapalooza highlights various musical genres, from early 2000's indie rock to soulful R&B. And what would a festival in the capital be without a healthy dose of techno? It's Berlin, after all. With a wide range of mobility options to choose from in the city, heading to Lollapalooza will be a breeze. Whether you need a ride for the day or weekend, you're sure to find one that suits your needs and budget.

Netherlands: Lowlands festival

Lowlands festival is held every year in August in Biddinghuizen, about 68 kilometres east of Amsterdam. Lowlands is a real must for anyone seeking an immersive festival experience while the end of summer is coming closer. The festival even has its "Kick That Ass" own award, which will be awarded to one of the lucky students of the Design Academy in Eindhoven for their unique creations. Choosing car-sharing to reach Lowlands is a great way to explore the scenic Dutch landscape (windmills, anyone?) and guarantees a hassle-free journey since you can tuck away any camping gear or much-needed snacks in the trunk.
