You might have noticed that the minute rate for each car changes depending on where and when you look in the app. The reason is: availability! Sometimes there are too few or too many cars when and where you need them. To get cars moving to the right spots, the minute rate automatically adjusts itself based on time and location.

The advantages:
✓ Cars in low demand areas are discounted daily so they are more likely to be driven.
✓ For just a few cents more or less, demand and supply are brought back into balance.
✓ This improves the availability of cars throughout the Home Area so you can find a car at the right place and time – for the right price.
✓ Our prices are capped and never exceed the maximum price range.

You can always see the latest minute rate by tapping on a car. Simply look out for cars with red stickers in the app to enjoy the lowest price. Happy bargain-hunting!

A base fee will be charged for each trip that meets the following conditions:

• Hourly rates

Yes. As long as you have valid SHARE NOW credit, it will automatically be used to pay for all your trips – including your discounted minute-rate trips.

You can easily find our lowest prices by looking for cars marked with a red sticker in the app. The discount applies to the minute rate, which changes according to time and location. The minute rate applies from the moment you reserve the car – no matter where or when you end the trip.

No. We currently only offer subscription passes with discounts on the minute rate. We are open to the idea of creating more subscription plans for you, though!

Log into your SHARE NOW account here to cancel your SHARE NOW Pass subscription. To ensure that your subscription does not renew itself at the beginning of the next monthly billing cycle, you must cancel your SHARE NOW Pass at least 14 days before the next monthly billing cycle begins.  After your current subscription expires, you will no longer enjoy savings on the minute rate.

If you have a SHARE NOW Pass*, your discount is only valid for domestic trips. If you drive in another SHARE NOW country, you will be charged the regular minute rate.

If you have a SHARE NOW Business Pass, you can enjoy discounts even on your international trips (in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Netherlands, Spain).

Yes. After you exceed the fixed time or fixed mileage of the rate, a different fee for each additional minute and/or kilometre will apply. This is charged on top of the rate price. To see these additional fees, simply tap on a rate in the app. Detailed pricing information will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Minute rate
After 200 km, the long distance rate of 0,39 € per additional kilometre will apply.

Hourly rates
After time runs out, the overtime minute rate (rate depends on car model) will apply.

Daily rates
After time runs out, the overtime minute rate (rate depends on car model) will apply.

You earn 10 points for every 1 € spent in your country of registration*. Points are rounded off at the tenth decimal. That means: If you spend 29,99 €, you earn 299 points.

All of the following count toward points: 
✔️ All trips except Corporate Account trips
✔️ Even when you spend SHARE NOW credit
✔️ Fees: Base fee, airport fees, drop off fees, etc.
✔️ Pre-booked extras: Comfort Package, Plus Protection, etc.
✔️ 2.5X points when you subscribe for the SHARE NOW Pass
✔️ If you have a SHARE NOW Pass, you'll pay the discounted minute rate, but earn full points on the normal minute rate!

This goes without saying, but penalties and damage-related costs won't count toward points ;)

We have rates to suit all your plans – big and small. Here are your options:

Minute rate*
Simply pay by-the-minute.
Includes mileage of 200 km.
After mileage is exceeded, the long distance rate will apply.

Hourly rate – up to 6 hours
Includes fixed amount of hours.
You pay from 0,23 € for each kilometre you drive depending on car model category.
After time is exceeded, the overtime minute rate will apply.

Daily rate – up to 30 days
Includes fixed amount of days.
You pay from 0,23 € for each kilometre you drive depending on car model category.
After time is exceeded, the overtime minute rate will apply.

To see the additional fees, simply tap on a rate in the app. Detailed information on the overtime minute rate and long distance rate will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

The SHARE NOW Pass automatically levels you up to Gold (Pass25) or Diamond (Pass50)*.

If you already have the SHARE NOW Pass, you will automatically level up when you join SHARE NOW Rewards.

Good to know: When you first subscribe, you will earn 2.5X the points for your SHARE NOW Pass. For example, if your monthly subscription costs 29,99 €, you will earn 2.5X 299 points. This point boost will happen every 4 months. As long as you have a Pass, you will always maintain your Gold or Diamond level.

Pro tip: Even though the SHARE NOW Pass discounts the minute rate for you, you will continue to earn full Rewards points! Example: If you have the SHARE NOW Pass50, the minute rate is discounted by 50%. However, you will still continue to earn points on the regular minute rate. Nice, right?

Doing a stopover with SHARE NOW is easy. First, park the car and shut all doors and windows. The next steps depends on the car:

Keyless cars:

• In the app, select Manage Trip ▶ Stopover. This will lock the doors.
• To continue driving, open the app and select Manage Trip ▶ Continue trip. This will unlock the doors.
• To end your trip, park the car and shut all doors and windows. In the app, select Manage Trip ▶ End trip.

Cars with keys:

• Use the car key to lock up the car and make sure to take the car key with you!
• To continue driving, simply open the car with the key again. You do not have to do anything in the app.
• To end your trip, park the car and place the car key back into the key card holder. Make sure doors and windows are closed. In the app, select Manage Trip ▶ End trip.

Important: Stopover time counts as part of your total trip duration. If you have selected an hourly or daily rate, stopover time will continue to use up the time you have booked. If you have selected the minute rate, stopover time will be billed according to the minute rate.
