How to get to Lüneburger Heide

Hard to miss with a car: if you leave Hamburg in a southerly direction, you will reach the first foothills of the Lüneburger Heide, or more precisely the Nordheide, after about 25 minutes regardless of which road you take. The checkpoints slightly further away such as Soltau, Celle, Lüneburg, and the Südheide nature park can also be reached in a little more than an hour thanks to the A7 and A250 motorways.
