The Salztherme Lüneburg - SaLü for short - is known far beyond the city limits of Lüneburg. It is one of the biggest thermal baths around Hamburg. Whether you want to spend a fun day swimming with the kids or just want to put your legs up in the wellness area - the Saltztherme Lüneburg is always worth a visit. The large sauna alone offers so many different saunas and wellness programmes that you can barely try them all out in one day. If you’re more the sporty type, you can do uninterrupted laps in the swimming pool or get into shape with aqua aerobics and various other courses.

Special events such as ‘water fun for kids’, ‘family paddling’ or ‘midnight sauna’ are also held on a regular basis. Their particularly low entrance fees are especially attractive.

Directions and parking

With such an offer, the roughly 50-minute journey from Hamburg, around 55 kilometres (34 miles) away, is definitely worth it. The A39 takes you directly to Lüneburg. At the end of the motorway you just have to follow the bypass towards Uelzen and turn right at the Wendisch Evern/Kaltenmoor exit towards the city centre. From there, you just have to follow the signs to SaLü/Reha-Zentrum and you will reach the Salztherme Lüneburg after around 4 kilometres (2 miles). If you prefer to be guided by the navigation system which is installed in each SHARE NOW car-sharing car, enter the destination address as Soltauer Straße 3 in Lüneburg.

With 330 parking spaces, the multi-storey car park offers enough spaces for visitors even on the weekends.
