A drop off fee applies when you end your trip in drop off zones (marked "Zone A" or "Zone B" on the Home Area map).

Drop off zones are part of the Home Area and are located a little outside the city centre. The drop off fee does not apply if you start and end your trip within the same drop off zone. The drop off zones and fees are marked on the Home Area map of the chosen city.

Parking at the airport is free if you use the airport's dedicated car-sharing parking. However, you will be charged an airport fee whenever you start or end your trip at the airport. These fees are often determined together with each airport. Here is the full overview of all airport fees:

Yes. All your trips are covered by liability insurance:

Base Fee (Basic Coverage):

The Base Fee automatically reduces your deductible to 300 000 Ft.

Plus Coverage

In addition to the Base Fee, you can choose the Plus Coverage for each trip for a one-time fee, which reduces your deductible to 100 000 Ft.

Drive carefully, because normal or reduced deductibles will only protect you in case of intended use that is in accordance with the GTC.

The long distance rate of 99 Ft is what you pay per kilometre after your trip exceeds the included mileage in your chosen rate or package.

The Base Fee includes the national highway sticker for all petrol models (in the case of electric models, a highway sticker that is valid in Pest county), a maximum deductible of 300 000 Ft and parking fees within the service zone. The amount of the Base Fee may differ from rental to rental, you can check it in the application every time you choose a package. The Base Fee will be automatically added to the total cost of your rental.

With SHARE NOW, your deductible is always automatically reduced to a specific amount in case of an accident. The deductible depends on the severity of the damage caused and the Plus Coverage that you can choose before your trip.

Before every trip, you can choose the Plus Coverage. The Plus Coverage reduces your deductible to 100 000 Ft for the given rental if any damage is caused. The Plus Coverage fee depends on the selected package and car category, you can check it every time when selecting a package in the application.

The Plus coverage for XS category cars is HUF 250 and HUF 350 for all other categories.

You can add Plus Coverage in the SHARE NOW app before you start your trip.

2. Click on "Plan"
3. Enter the details of your trip

5. Select "Plus Coverage"

It is not possible to select Plus Coverage after starting your trip.

You can easily find our lowest prices by looking for cars marked with a red sticker in the app. The discount applies to the minute rate, which changes according to time and location. The minute rate applies from the moment you reserve the car – no matter where or when you end the trip.

In other SHARE NOW locations, the minute price is flexible! This is not the case in Budapest, where the minute rate is fixed based on the car model.

In our other locations, the minute rate for each car changes depending on where and when you look in the app. The reason is: availability! Sometimes there are too few or too many cars when and where you need them. To get cars moving to the right spots, the minute rate automatically adjusts itself based on time and location.

The advantages:
✓ Cars in low demand areas are discounted daily so they are more likely to be driven.
✓ For just a few cents more or less, demand and supply are brought back into balance.
✓ This improves the availability of cars throughout the Home Area so you can find a car at the right place and time – for the right price.

You can always see the latest minute rate by tapping on a car abroad. Simply look out for cars with red stickers in the app to enjoy the lowest price. Happy bargain-hunting!

We have rates and packages to suit all your plans – big and small. Here are your options:

Minute rate
Simply pay by-the-minute.
Includes mileage of 35 km.
After mileage is exceeded, the long distance rate will apply.

Hourly package
Includes fixed amount of hours and kilometers.
After time is exceeded, the overtime minute rate will apply.
After mileage is exceeded, the long distance fee will apply.

Daily package
Includes fixed amount of days and kilometers.
After time is exceeded, the overtime minute rate will apply.
After mileage is exceeded, the long distance fee will apply.

Please note, that SHARE NOW cars can be driven for up to 3 days.
In the case of a daily package overrun, we will automatically extend your rental by one extra daily package if this would make your rental rate lower than the overrun minutes. It includes 0 km per day, with the extra kilometres also charged at 99 Ft/km. The corresponding pricing can be found in the Fee and Cost policy.

Yes. After you exceed the fixed time or fixed mileage in a package, a different rate for each additional minute and/or kilometre will apply. This is charged on top of the package price. To see these additional fees, simply tap on a rate or package in the app. Detailed pricing information will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Minute rate
After 35 km, the long distance rate of 99 Ft per additional kilometre will apply.

Hourly packages
After time runs out, the overtime minute rate (depends on car model) will apply.
After mileage runs out, the long distance fee of 99 Ft per additional kilometre will apply.

Daily packages
After time runs out, the overtime minute rate (depends on car model) will apply.
After mileage runs out, the long distance fee of 99 Ft per additional kilometre will apply.

SHARE NOW cars can be driven for up to 3 days.
In the case of a daily package overrun, we will automatically extend your rental by one extra daily package if this would make your rental rate lower than the overrun minutes. The corresponding pricing can be found in the Fee and Cost policy.

The full package price is charged to your default payment profile the moment you start your trip. Unused package time or mileage will unfortunately not be reimbursed. We recommend making the most of your package and using it up!

In Hungary, the Base Fee covers the toll costs. In case of electric models the toll costs are covered only within Pest county.

However, in other SHARE NOW countries, you are expected to pay the toll costs when you drive on the motorways, except for Vienna, where toll costs are covered.

SHARE NOW trips in Austria: The vignettes cover the toll costs for motorways and expressways.*

*Special route toll: In Austria, section toll rates on construction-intensive Alpine crossings are NOT included and must be covered at your own expense.
