For more information on SHARE NOW prices, see our pricing overview.

How can I find cars with the lowest prices?

You can easily find our lowest prices by looking for cars marked with a red sticker in the app. The discount applies to the minute rate, which changes according to time and location. The minute rate applies from the moment you reserve the car – no matter where or when you end the trip.

Are SHARE NOW cars insured?

Yes. In Denmark, SHARE NOW cars are covered by third-party liability insurance with a deductible of up to 5.000 kr. per damage. You'll only be charged the deductible if you're at fault in an accident or if you make damage(s) to the car. This agreement is waived, however, in cases of gross negligence. To learn more, please check out our terms and conditions.

You can choose between the following two insurances when renting a SHARE NOW car in Danmark:

Basic Coverage
This insurance is included in all rates and doesn't cost extra. Your deductible is up to 5,000 kr.

Plus Coverage
You can reduce your deductible to 0 kr. for each trip with Plus Coverage. The price for Plus Coverage depends on your selected rate and car model – find prices in the app.

Make sure to report any new damage(s) to the car before you start your trip.

What happens if I don't use up all the included time and/or mileage in my selected rate?

The rate is charged to your payment profile the moment you start your trip. Unused time or mileage in a rate will not be reimbursed and a rate cannot be split into more trips. We recommend making the most of your package and using it up!

Are there additional costs if I exceed the time or mileage included in my rate?

Yes. After you exceed the time and/or mileage in a package, extra fees for each additional minute and/or kilometer will apply. When you end your trip, the fees will be added to your invoice.

To see these additional fees, simply tap on a rate or package in the app. Detailed pricing information will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Why does the minute rate change according to time and location?

You might have noticed that the minute rate for each car changes depending on where and when you look in the app. The reason is: availability! Sometimes there are too few or too many cars when and where you need them. To get cars moving to the right spots, the minute rate automatically adjusts itself based on time and location.

The advantages:
✓ Cars in low demand areas are discounted daily so they are more likely to be driven
✓ With just a few adjustments, demand and supply are brought back into balance
✓ This improves the availability of cars throughout the Home Area so you can find a car at the right place and time – for the right price

You can always see the latest minute rate by tapping on a car. Simply look out for cars with red stickers in the app to enjoy the lowest price!

What is a drop off fee?

A drop off fee applies when you end your trip in a drop off zone. Drop off zones are shown as dimmed areas in the app. If you don't see them, make sure to activate the view in the app settings or on the map.

Drop off zones are part of the Home Area, but are usually located slightly outside the city or in areas with lower activity or special parking conditions. The fee for ending a trip in a drop off zone in Copenhagen is 25 kr.

What is a drop off zone?

Drop off zones are part of the Home Area and are typically located outside the city or in areas with lower activity or special parking conditions. To see drop off zones in the app, active the view in app setting or on the map. After that, our drop off zones are shown as dimmed areas on the map.

A fee of 25 kr. will be applied when you end your trip in a drop off zone.

What is the long distance rate?

The long distance fee of 2,50 kr. is what you pay per kilometer after your trip exceeds the included mileage in your chosen rate or package.

For example, if your package includes 100 km of mileage and your trip exceeds this mileage by 10 km, you'll pay 2,50 kr. for each additional kilometer. In this example, that would be 10 km X 2,50 kr. = 25 kr.

The charge is added to your invoice automatically.

What is a Base Fee?

Petrol cars are great for long distance driving, but on trips in and around the city our range of emission free electric cars do the job perfectly. That's why we charge a base fee of 10 kr. on minute rate trips in our petrol cars. Hourly & daily rates are not affected by this fee.

What is a deductible?

In an insurance policy, the deductible is the amount paid out of pocket by the policy holder before an insurance provider will pay any expenses.

With SHARE NOW, your deductible is always automatically reduced to a specific amount in case of an accident. The deductible depends on the car and package you select. To learn more, please check out our terms and conditions.

Do I have to pay the toll costs?

Yes, you are expected to pay the toll costs when you cross bridges or when you drive on motorways. This applies to Denmark as well as in other SHARE NOW countries.

Our cars are added to the automatic licence plate recognition at the Øresund Bridge and Storebælt Bridge toll stations. The price is 200 kr./one way through the toll booth.

There may be specific rules regarding the toll fees you need to pay when renting a SHARE NOW in another country. Please refer to the FAQ section of the respective country for more information.
